Synopsis Of The Music Video

The Who Says music video begins with a facial shot of Selena with a big pair of earrings, a black colored dress, and make up. With closed eyes, Selena gradually opens them stating the first lines of the track. Then the intro starts – shots of her posing, and the first verse begins.

The first verse begins with Selena, stating the lines with her one hand on her hips and appearing uneasy. As the camera zooms out, it is shown that she is on a photo shoot. And she is uneasy of it. She then gets rid of her heels, her big earrings, throws them away, and then strolls on the streets barefoot, bringing her sparkly heels as she is singing, then she glances at the sign: Every Right.

The chorus begins with Selena Gomez, singing before an advertisement or mural. The chorus is usually quotations and performance. All through the chorus, the video spells out the line: Don’t Judge a Book By Its Cover. When the chorus stops, she hops in on a cab.

The second verse begins with Selena singing inside the cab and her reading signs as well as sayings on the way. When bridge of the song starts, she is taking walks in a walk way, and she notices many signs relating the song. Then the chorus Begins.

The chorus starts with Selena Gomez, singing once again before a large mural which says: That’s the price of Beauty and shots of phrases and sayings again which is True Beauty Lies Beneath the Surface. The second Chorus is mainly on performance.

The end begins with Selena walking into a washroom, taking out all the vanity. Then she is now revealed in the mirror, looking simple.

The final chorus begins with Selena, taking walks to a beach, soon to find her followers and band, awaiting her. Shots of the followers hugging her are shown, Shots of her performing with the band are likewise shown, and the last shot is Selena running to the water along with followers and having a great time. The last shot shows “The End” on sand, and then it washes way.
